keniacastromora! This problem can be setup as a proportion.
We have a ratio of 3/4. The cow's milk is the 3 and the goat milk is the 4. They want to know
how many IU of vitamin A are in a liter of goat milk. Since we know the ratio is 3/4 and that a liter of cow's milk has 1560 UI we can set this up as a proportion and solve.
Now solve for x by first cross multiplying 1560 * 4 =
6240
Next divide 6240 by 3 6240 / 3 =
2080
So x = 2080 and our proportion looks like the following
So there are 2080 UI of vitamin A in a liter of goat milk when a liter of cow milk has 1560 UI of vitamin A
