x² + 10x + 12 = 36
x² +10x + 12-36 = 0
x² + 10x - 24 = 0
now by factorization;
x² + 12x - 2x - 24 = 0
x(x+12) -2(x+12) = 0
(x+12)(x-2) = 0
Now, x+12 = 0 and x-2 = 0
x = -12 and x = 2
x= -12, 2
Thus the values for x is -12 and 2.
