Ambulatory care is a type of medical care provided on outpatient basis, including various services such as observation, treatment, diagnosis and rehabilitation. It has been on the rise lately due factors such as; Medical offices and clinics receiving pressure to offer a wide range of treatment and diagnostic services to solve the burden of admitting patients in hospitals. In addition, an understanding that people feel better the less they go for treatment in the hospitals has increased, and also employers, insurance companies and federal government all have desires to minimize the costs of health care.
