How do I solve writing systems of equations in Algebra 1?

Example of an equation I'm working with:
Meg paid $26 for 2 books and 2 games. Megs sister paid $28 for 4 books and 1 game. Each book cost the same amount. How much does a book cost? How much does a game cost?

2x+2y=26
