If x represents the number of yogurt sundaes and y represents the number of yogurt cones, which graph correctly shows the solution to the problem?

Ok so it's a system of inequality. It is that last one because we know it is less than or equal to 50 dollars so it can't be A or B as they have a dashed line. Now C and D if you do the system of inequality you should end up with the last one.

Answer: Fourth graph correctly shows the solution of given problem.

Step-by-step explanation:

Here, Ryleigh received a $50 gift card to the frozen yogurt shop for her birthday,

Therefore, he can buy things under $50, that is total expenditure of Ryleigh must be $50 or less than $50.

Thus, total expenditure ≤ 50 -------(1)

Again, the shop sells yogurt sundaes for $4.00 and yogurt cones for $3.00 (given)

And, if he bought x yogurt sundaes and y yogurt cones then his total expenditure= 4x+3y ------(2)

Then, from equation (1) and (2), the representation of given situation is,

4x+3y ≤ 50

According to the given graphs,

first graph shows 4x+3y> 50 , so it can not be the graph of above situation.

Second graph shows 4x+3y<50, so it can not be the graph of above situation.

Third graph shows 4x+3y≥50, so it can not be the graph of above situation.

But, fourth graph shows 4x+3y ≤ 50, which is representing the above situation.
