Given: Mass m = 50 Kg; Height h = 5 m
G.P.E = 400 J Derive unit of Joule is equal to J = Kg.m²/s²
Required: gravity g = ?
Formula: G.P.E = mgh
g = G.P.E/mh
g = 400 Kg.m²/s²/(50 Kg)(5 m)
g = 400 Kg.m²/s²/250 Kg.m Cancel the unit Kg and m
g = 1.6 m/s²
