Explanation:

In Δ VWZ and ΔYXZ


(VZ)/(YZ)=(WZ)/(XZ)...........\text{[given]}\\\angle{VZW}=\angle{WZX}...........\text{[vertical angles]}

Therefore, by SAS similarity criteria, ΔVWZ ≈ ΔYXZ

hence, we use
\angle{VZW}\cong\angle{WZX} to prove both the triangles similar.
