I believe your unit rate would be 4:10, because in 4 hours you hike 10 Miles. If it was miles to time, it would be 10:4. Hope that helps

2.5 mph You divide 10 (how far they went) by 4 (amount of time it took) which gives you 2.5 (amount of time it takes to hike on mile)
