Answer: Option 'b' is correct.

Explanation:

Since we have given that

There are 3 weeks to go whitewater rafting by Greg and Josh.

Amount saved by Josh =$480

Number of hours he is saving the pay he received in each week = 5

Total hours in 3 weeks is given by

3* 5=15\ hours

So, Amount saved by Josh is given by

(480)/(15)=\$32

Similarly,

Total amount saved by Greg = $480

Number of hours he is saving the pay he received in each week = 8

Total hours in 3 weeks is given by

3* 8=24\ hours

So, Amount saved by Greg is given by

(480)/(24)=\$20

Josh make more money than Greg by

\$32-\$20=\$12

Hence, $12 is more saved by Josh than Greg .

Therefore , Option 'b' is correct.
