What's the answer of e^ipi

If I remember correctly, e^(ia) = cos a + i sin a. This is Euler's Formula, which you should look up.

If that's correct, then e^(i*pi) = cos pi+ i sin pi. This reduces to

e^(i*pi) = -1 + i(0) = -1.
