It was seen that 75 customers purchased between 4 and 8 gallons of gasoline while 48 customers purchased between 8 and 12 gallons of gasoline.

The total number of customers who bought gasoline from the gas station on that day is 34 + 75 + 48 + 83 + 118 + 14 = 372

Therefore, the percent of customers that purchased between 4 and 12 gallons of gasoline is given by:


(75+48)/(372) *100\%= (123)/(372) *100\% \\ \\ \approx33.1\%
