What is the difference between parallel and fusiform muscle structure?

A parallel muscle structure contains fibers in which it is characterized by having to run a parallel to each other that could be referred to as strap muscles while the fusiform muscle structure is a muscle that has the shape of the spindle in which is describe to be wide in the middle and the ends to be narrow.
