Three is zero of the equation, so,
↪f(3)=0
Here,
↪x³-4x²-3x+18=0
↪ x³-4x²+3x-6x+18=0
↪ x³-3x²-x²+3x-6x+18=0
↪ x²(x-3)-x(x-3)-6(x-3)=0
↪(x-3)(x²-x-6)=0
↪f(3)=(x-3)(x²-x-6)➡equivalent factored form
