Concurrent power refers to the type of Government powers that are shared by both the federal government and the state government.
Example of a concurrent power of government would be the power to levy tax. Even though the taxation system for each states would be created by states on their own, the federal government possess the right to make some taxation regulations to increase their federal budget.
