J = 3S + 2
S = J - 14

S = 3S + 2 - 14
S - 3S = 2 - 14
-2S = - 12
S = -12/-2
S = 6

J = 3S + 2
J = 3(6) + 2
J = 18 + 2
J = 20

and the difference is : 20 - 6 = 14 <===
