612π = π.14,2. s
s = 612/14,2
= 43,1

The formula of lateral surface area of cone is


Area= \pi * r * l

Here r represents radius and l represents the slant heigh .

In the question it is given that, radius, r =14.2

And


Area = 612 \pi

Substituting these values in the formula of lateral area of cone, we will get


612 \pi = \pi *14.2*l

Now we need to solve for l and for that we need to divide both sides by 14.2 pi, that is


(612 \pi)/(14.2 \pi)= l

l = 43 (approx )
