He made a mistake by +7 I think

In Step One, he did not multiply 7 by 8. When multiplying both sides by 8, each term on each side has to be multiplied by 8. He could have done it in the following ways:

8\bullet( (x)/(8) +7)=22\bullet8

OR


8\bullet (x)/(8)+8\bullet7=22\bullet8
