How do you add and subtract fractions??

Add the top, then add the bottom
Your answer will be 4/6

Same thing with subtracting
1/2 - 3/4
subtract the top, then the bottom
your answer will be 2/2

To add fractions they're suppose to have the same base or denominator then u add the top

To subtract it's the same but u subtract the top
