A ramp leading into a building makes a 15o angle with the ground. The end of the ramp is 10 feet from the base of the building.

Approximately how long is the ramp? Round to the nearest tenth.

Do solve this you should use trigonometric functions. For this you should use sine since you are trying to calculate the length of the hypotenuse since the ramp and the wall essentially form a right triangle. sin 15 = 10 / ramp length ramp length = 10 / sin 15 Use a calculator to solve.
