A. Jackson's use of the phrase "a happy consummation" gives the passage a satisfied tone.

Happy consumation and the whole passage it´s a celebration of victory, they are happy to finally been able to remove the indians form white territory and been able to use those lands. The government had put a lot of effort and time in such task and finally materializing the removal brought satisfaction.
