What Is the midpoint of the line segment with endpoints (1, -6) and (-3, 4)?

slope = m = -1x length = |-3-2| = 5y length = |4-(-1)| = 5The other endpoint is to the left in this case.The end point (xn,yn) = (-3-5,4+5)=(-8,9)So (-8,9) is the other endpoint
