A. Yes, yes I have, plenty of times.

A. Mostly linear and some quadratic and others.

A. By methods I think of equations or steps, correct me if I'm wrong or mistaken.

Y=mx+b for linear functions and more.... I'd use a input output chart.
I'd separate the domains and ranges, etc....
