Intentional injuries are harmful actions done to oneself or others with intent or purpose. For example, a person purposely punches someone in the face. On the other hand, unintentional injuries are harmful actions obtained without any malicious intent of causing damage to oneself or others. One example is falling off a bike upon tripping on a raised sidewalk that you did not see.

Intentional injuries are result from a intended harmful behavior to oneself's or to others, while unintentional injuries are harmful actions that happened without any malice of invoking damage.

For example, if you accidentally drop a glass of water to someone else, that is unintentional. But if you were waiting on someone then you dropped the glass on him, that is intentional.
