When are distance and displacement equal? Use an example from the book when they were equal.

They are only equal when the distance is the furthest from the initial position (When the runner ran to 3rd base)

They are only equal when the motion is in one direction (When runner ran from home to 1st base)

They are only equal when the displacement is the furthest from the initial position (When the runner ran to 2nd base)
