x^(n) ) = na
x^(n-1)

Given

y = 3
x^(4) - 2x³ - 7x + 5, then


(dy)/(dx) = 4.3
x^(4-1) - 3.2
x^(3-1) - 7
x^(1-1) + 0

= 12x³ - 6x² - 7
