The given equation of line in two variable is :

→y = 3 x +1

→→It is the slope intercept form of line having slope = 3 ,

and Y intercept = 1.

→→→Slope of line = Tan (theta)=3, i.e Angle made by line in positive direction of X axis.

we can draw its graph by taking any two points on the line

put , x= 0 gives y=1.

Put y=0, gives , x =
(-1)/(3)

So we will draw equation of line joining (0,1) and (
(-1)/(3),0).

Or convert it into intercept form which is :
\frac{x}{\frac {-1}{3}}+(y)/(1)=1

Kelsey graphed the equation y = 3x + 1 as shown below.-example-1
