D. Mars is a long distance away

B might seem like a valid answer, but the attraction you feel from Mars is independent of your own mass and only dependent on the mass of Mars.

Answer:

D.Mars is a long distance away

Step-by-step explanation:

  • As mars are located far away from the earth the force of gravity is not felt as compared to that of the moon and the sun on earth that created tidal bulges. As there doesn't exist any force between you and that of the mars and thus there is the gravitational pull of the earth is much stronger.
