Question: Is this multiplication or division? Solve.
Work:
x^10/x^4 is division because of the / (slash).
Use Quotient Rule: xa/xb = x^a-b
x^10-4
Simplify 10 - 4 to 6:
x^6

x^4
to divide anything with exponents we subtract the exponents
x^10-x^4=x^6
