Answer with Explanation

Density differences in water masses that are caused by temperature and salinity variations may cause currents to generate. These could be the reasons that the currents move water masses through the deep ocean taking nutrients, oxygen, and heat with them. Deep currents have extra inferences on the global climate. Cold ocean water contains a considerable amount of carbon dioxide. Relative warming of these cold currents can later result in a release of stored CO2 into the atmosphere which may be useful.
