You need to use the equation Distance (miles)=Rate (miles/hour) x Time (hours)
Brandi: 2.5 miles=rate (1/2 hour) r=5 miles per hour
Sharna=3.5 miles= rate (3/4 hour) r = 7 miles per hour.
Therefore brandi jogged at a slower rate.
