3 times 10 would equal 30, so 5 Times 10 is 50. When you add 50 and 30, you get 80. 80 would be your answer. I hope this helps

Hi there! :D
Let's put the ratio into play:
5:3
Where the pennies are 5, and the nickels are 3.
Substitute 3 for 30.
x:30
What times 3 equals 30?
3*10= 30
So,
5*10= 50
Add the nickels and pennies together.
30+50= 80 coins
I hope this helps!
