I need help!!! I think its C

Why did the framers of the Constitution include a system of shared power known as checks and balances?

to ensure the powers of each branch of government are limited and checked by another branch
to create a process for the American people to choose their representatives for government branches
to ensure each branch of government had a limit on spending that could not be exceeded
to enable the president to veto a branch of government's decision if it was deemed inappropriate

Answer:

to make sure that one branch of government couldn't completely control the other branches of government

Step-by-step explanation:

The Framers wanted to create a stronger central government, but they wanted to make sure that one branch couldn't gain too much power.

I believe its A, to ensure  the powers  of each branch of government are limited and checked by another branch. (this system was to prevent tyranny.)
