Read the paragraph below and answer the question that follows. 1My name is Maddox Smith. 2I am the Treasurer of the San Marcos High School Charity Club. 3We're having a canned food drive. 4This event is going to be off the hook and raise lots of dough for the homeless peeps. 5It's just two weeks away and I am writing to ask for your help. 6The Charity Club is planning to place collection boxes for canned food items at various local stores. 7We'd love it if you would allow us to place a bin at Shop Mart. 8All of the collections from the food drive will go to the local food bank to be sent out to local families who are really, super poor. Which of the following would be most helpful in creating a more formal and professional tone? mentioning the request sooner better explaining the purpose for writing eliminating the slang removing the contractions only all of the above

All of the above. The contractions makes it seem unprofessional amd the slang does too. If you better explain the purpose for writing, you are more likely to get the response you want. Hope this helps!

Answer:

I would say that all of the options would be helpful in creating a more formal and professional tone. The correct answer then would be the last one: all of the above.

Step-by-step explanation:

All of the options would make the letter better, and by better I mean more formal. The one that needs to be done is removing the slang, but all the other would also help make it more formal. When requesting help for a formal cause, we should take care of all the details in order to make it as credible as possible, because the cause needs to be taken care of with responsibility. Also, you need to be clear, that is why the sooner you explain your idea and what is your request, the better.
