that would be
2.5 * 10^-4 * 3 * 10^5 = 7.5 * 10^1

2.5 x 10^-4 x 3 x 10^5

2.5 *3 = 7.5

10^-4 x 10^5 ( add the exponents: -4 + 5 =1) = 10^1

so 7.5 x 10^1
