Ten times greater. The 9 in 9000 stands for 9000, the 9 in 900 stands for 900. 9000/900 = 10

Answer:

Ten times greater

Explanation:

In order to calculate this you just have to divide the 9,000 between the 900 to see how many times greater it is the value of the 9 in 9000 than the value of 9 in 900:

(9000)/(900)=10

That is one way, or the other would be, as you know would be to count the positions to the left or right of difference between the numbers, so from 900 to 9000 there is one position and by any position it´s 10 times greater or smaller. since there is only one position is 10 times greater.
