Hi there! :)

Explanation:

SLOPE=(Y_2-Y_1)/(X_2-X_1)=(RISE)/(RUN)

(9-3)/(5-(-3))=(6)/(8)=(6/2)/(8/2)=(3)/(4)

Slope is 3/4.

Final answer is 3/4.

Hope this helps!

Have a nice day! :)

Use the slope formula.

slope = m = ( y_(2) - y_(1) )/( x_(2) - x_(1) )

Subtract the y-coordinates.
Subtract the x-coordinates in the same order.
Divide the difference in y by the difference in x.

slope = m = ( 3 - 9 )/( -3 - 5 )

slope = m = ( -6 )/( -8 )

slope = m = ( 3 )/( 4 )
