Do the equation 44,000 * 10% to find your answer. This is because you need to find 10% OF (of is *) 44,000. I hoped this helped!

Your margin of error has to be +/- 10% of 44,000
10% of 44,000 is 4400
Your guess would have to be within 4400 of 40,000
The acceptable range would be between 35,600 and 44,400
