(y-2)/(6)+(5-y)/(4)=9\ \ \ \ |\cdot12\\\\12\cdot(y-2)/(6)+12\cdot(5-y)/(4)=12\cdot9\\\\2(y-2)+3(5-y)=108\ \ \ \ |\text{use distributive property}\\\\2y-4+15-3y=108\\\\(2y-3y)+(-4+15)=108\\\\-y+11=108\ \ \ |-11\\\\-y=97\to y=-97
