Hint (a): hint (b): find the area of a circle πr2. notice that this is only three-fourths of a circle. hint (b): find the circumference of a circle (2πr). note that this is, again, three-fourths of a circle. once you find the adjusted circumference, remember to incorporate the radius of the straight edges in your calculations.] answer

For A. You didn't gave the picture of the problem but I will attach it later with the picture of B. We are looking for the perimeter, the answer is 2 + 12 + 2 + 3 + 5 + 3 + 2 + 9 + 7 + 3 = 48 cm.

For B. The radius is 4 in. So the formula is given, 2pi r = 2(pi)(4 in) = 25.1327412 in is the circumference of a circle which only signifies three fourths.
