Domain is the set of x values in which the graph of a function exists. If the domain is all real numbers; that means there are no gaps in the graph. The only time the domain is not ARN is when there is a square root, denominator, or log/ln. Anything under a square root must be positive. The denominator cannot be equal to zero. A log function must be strictly positive. Therefore all of the equations listed above apply.
