Mendel used more than 28,000 pea plants in his experiment. how does this large sample size make his results more reliable?

A large sample size broadens the range of possible data and forms a better picture for analysis. It also shows that data was not a flaw, for example if he only used a few plants, people would think that those plants were not very accurate. But, a large sample makes it more reliable and trustworthy.
