Holistic health describes a wide scope of criteria used to assign a value, qualitative or quantitatively to the condition of well-being. Included in the topic of holistic health are the subjects of genetics, availability of health care, family dynamics, environment, stress, and social habits. Each of these aspects plays a unique and material role in health, and when considered in aggregate, reveal holistic health. The first, literally, factor one encounters in their health is genetics which deals with specifically when you came in to this world, what was the arrangement and health of your specific genome, were you pre-disposed to disease, handicap, or other genetic mutations? Right after genetics, is healthcare, or, to what extent and at what cost do you receive care and treatment for what ever ails or issues, medically, you encounter or have. Family dynamics plays an important role, and ties directly into culture and environment in that these 3 core aspects of your life will dictate a critical amount of influence over your attitude and mental perspective on life. Your attitude and paradigm will have a large impact on how you handle and what causes stress in your life. Finally, social habits are a big factor because humans are, albeit to their downfall, social creatures who rely on some degree of pack mentality for optimal health.
