What similarities did the movement for the abolition of slavery share with the feminist movement in the nineteenth century?

First, it needed to be said that slaves got much worse treatments and we couldn't get around that.
But if we have to found a similarity it would be the restrictive nature that society imposed on both social groups.
For example, compared to men, women are much more likely to be controlled by their family in choosing the job they should take and the partner that they should marry.
