A number, x, is 4 times another number, y. The difference between the number is 18. what is the value of the larger number?

The wording to this question is a little weird, but I think the answer is 6. I kind of just substituted numbers in the problem, but I would double check

6*4 is 24 6 is the smaller

A number, (24), is 4 times another number, (6). The difference between the number is 18.(24-18=6) what is the value of the larger number?
