Find the sixth term of the sequence A(n)=6+(n-1)(-2)

Supposing that the first term is obtained for
[tex]u_6=6+(6-1)(-2)=6+5*(-2)\\=6-10\\=-4\\\text{We deduce the sixth term o the sequence is the following:} -4=6+0\times(-2)=6[/tex]
then we obtain the sixth term by setting n = 6 in the formula like this:
