Answer: b. Both are young and only beginning to develop horizons and a soil profile.

Inceptisols and entisols are the soils which are found in the floodplains. These are soils ,which are weakly withered and lacks organic matter. These soils are concentrated by sediments coming from other places through floods. They are found in the wetter portions of the landscapes. Therefore, they lack proper soil development and hence, both of these soils have soil horizon and soil profile restricted to beginning stages and does not develop completely.
