Africa, Asia, and central America. Home to some 1.2 billion people Africa has the lowest standard of living of any continent on earth. People live on less than $30 a month. While Asia ( China and India) is home to 59% of the world's population. That is more than a third of the world's population. The seven countries of central America are still been referred to as developing economies due to the very low standards of living among Latin American countries. Generally central America, Asia and Africa have the lowest standard of living and the highest population in the world.
