For the reaction represented by the equation 2hno3 + mg(oh)2® mg(no3)2 + 2h2o, how many grams of magnesium nitrate are produced from 8.00 mol of nitric acid, hno3, and an excess of mg(oh)2?

From the equation 8 mole of Nitric acid produces 4 mole of magnesium nitrate.
No of moles = mass / molar mass
Molar mass of magnesium nitrate = 24.3 +2(14 + (16*3)) = 24.3 + 2(14 + 48) = 148.3
Mass of magnesium nitrate = 4 * 148.3 = 593.2g
