Party Era is a historical period wherein party who’s in power gets more votes and won the elections. Next is Critical Election. Critical Election is also called an electoral earthquake. In this period, new issues raised, the old coalitions are replaced by the new, and a Party Realignment takes place. When this occurs, it is sometimes marked as a national crisis. To bring about a new party era, the nation requires more than one election. Meanwhile, Party Realignment happens when the power between a country’s political parties became imbalance and is in favor of the minority. In other words, the minority displaces the majority. This usually happens during a critical election period.
