Y = x + 1500. (You could also put y=1x+15000. The 1 really doesn’t matter. X alone signifies a 1, so having there would only prove that the value is only 1.) In a linear equation, the ultimate goal is to find the value of Y by using the equation y=mx+b. You leave the “y” blank, and fill in the “m” spot with your slope. In your case, the slope is one. You leave the “x” part blank as well, and move onto the “b” part. In your case, “b” is equal to 15000.
